Abstract:Based on the panel data during the period of 2003 to 2010 at provincial level in China,this paper aims to discuss the impacts of KIBS,acting as the second knowledge infrastructure and knowledge disseminator,on two-stage innovation efficiency of high-tech industries.The results showed:generally,KIBS s performance in the promotion of two-stage innovation efficiency is not significant in China.Second,financial and business services promote the innovation efficiency considerably.Conversely,information and communication and science and technology services are not significant.Finally,the impacts of financial and commercial services are focusing on the commercialize stage.Given the findings in this study,some policy suggestions are proposed.
