Abstract:This paper focuses on indicator system to analyze the repatriation of foreign direct investment. The analysis results suggest that large-scale foreign investment backflow won't happen through the analysis of the key indicators. In the short term, the US and Europe could decrease direct investment to China;in the long run, China is still competitive to attract manufacturing investment.Although large scale repatriation of manufacturing won't happen, the high-end manufacturing will be the focus for the next investment competition, which directly related to the industry upgrading and enterprise technology innovation ability. So, it is necessary to pay high attention and in-depth traceability analysis.
