Abstract：Strategic emerging industry, the dominant industry of national economy, will become the new engine of China s economy growth, while its achievement of successful transformation is always impeded by the issue of financing. As the combined product of modern finance and high-technology, patent pledge could effectively relieve the funds scarcity. Through constructing a performance evaluation system, this paper aimed to review the current situation of patent pledge in bio-medical industry and probe on its existing problems and causes, thereby providing suggestions for the improvement of patent pledge in China.
