Abstract：This paper investigates the mechanism of impacts of human capital on economic growth in China on the basis of the province-level panel data from 2002 to 2009 on Stochastic Frontier Model.We found that human capital could promote technology efficiency directly.It also promoted technodogy by foreign investment and foreign trade,but not by toreign techndogy import.We also found that RD investment did not work well on technology efliciency,neither promoted it through foreign investment,foreign trade or foreign technology import.
