Abstract:Based on the sample of bulletin data(2010 to 2011) of 153 listed companies on GEM in our country,this paper researches the influence of the internal and external characteristics of the top management teams(TMT)in the listed companies to the innovation performance of these companies.It turned out that professional background heterogeneity,age heterogeneity and term heterogeneity obviously improved the technical performance of enterprise innovation.Educational status of TMT,professional background heterogeneity,and office term heterogeneity obviously improved the financial performance of enterprise innovation.The educational heterogeneity of TMT obviously improved the strategy performance of enterprise innovation.TMT annual salary was not significant to influence the corporate performance.However,TMT proportion restrained the technical performance and strategic performance.
