Abstract：Nuclear energy is an important area in the new energy industry,which plays an important role in global energy infrastructure.In 2011,influenced by the Fukushima nuclear accident in Japan,countries have slowed down the pace of nuclear energy development,nonetheless,the willingness of various countries to develop nuclear power has returned.Based on a global perspective,this paper analysed the current situation and trend of the nuclear industry and technology development.With comparative analysis of development status and shortcomings of China s nuclear power industry and technology,this paper proposed specific policy recommendations from perspectives of technology RD policy,nuclear safety,laws and regulations,personnel training,tax incentives,financial support,nuclear fuel security,spent fuel reprocessing and nuclear decommissioning and so on.
