Abstract：Thorough consideration of problems of survival and development and the influencing factors faced by rural residents in China,preliminarily sixty—three parameters from five aspects reflecting the characteristics of the Chinese rural people s livelihood are taken into consideration.By means of expert assessment,mathematical statistics to do further technology filtration,we established the evaluation index system of rural livelihood on five dimensions and 42 evaluation index,then determined the weight of it by AHP method.Finally,applying the analysis system to Yantai s rural area,the results indicate that the proposed assessment system is practical.
