Abstract：Science and technology cooperation is one of the most important components of the relationship between China and Africa.This paper reviewed the history and current situation of the China-Africa cooperation in science and technology,analyzed its opportunities and challenges in the new period,pointed out that the science and technology capacity building roled as the vitality of China-Africa science and technology cooperation,and presented suggestions including taking science and technology capacity building as the core,focusing on talents training and policies and initiating flag ship projects.
