Abstract：This paper takes Kingfa as a case study objective,exploring the co-evolution between collaborative innovation pattern and innovative capacity.The results showed that there is a spiral mutual influence between firm s innovative capacity and collaborative pattern with the effect of organizational learning.Firms in different developing stages should adopt different collaborative patterns.Various learning processes with developing stage characteristics can improve firm s absorptive capacity,meanwhile lead to superior collaborative patterns.Especially,this paper summarizes the critical dimensions of local firm s collaborative pattern and found that traditional industry-university collaboration and supply chain partnership are going to merge together to form a contact-based networks innovation pattern when firms adopt strategic alliance to RD generic technologies.It also found that the collaboration can help firms to avoid competency traps.The results will help Chinese firms to effectively select fitted innovation patterns and learning processes.
