Abstract:This paper examines three types of antecedents of incremental and radical innovation, as well as the impact of two kinds of innovations on new product performance and their interaction. Our research results show that: ①Environmental pressure, market orientation and innovation orientation have significant positive impact on two kinds of innovations; ②Firm size, age and cost leadership strategy have no significant effect on firms' innovation; ③Differentiation strategy has positive impact only on radial innovation; ④Both incremental and radical innovation have positively impact on new product performance; ⑤The interaction effect of incremental and radical innovation is not significant
