Abstract：Construction of the evaluation index system is the premise and basis for evaluating the sustainable development capacity of Internet of things(IOT)industry,which has an important significance for the evaluation.Based on the definition of sustainable development capacity of IOT industry,this paper discusses the factors that influence the sustainable development of IOT industry,constructs the evaluation index system of the sustainable development capacity of IOT industry,and puts forward an optimization method of index system that based on the grey incidence characteristic value,all of which are new thoughts to optimizes the evaluation index system of the sustainable development capacity of IOT industry.Moreover,the paper proposes a method to determine the index weight based on the driving mechanism of different information,which provides a method to quantify the evaluation index of sustainable development of IOT industry
