Abstract：In China,as a new method of technical innovation auditing,technical innovation audit is still in its preliminary research and practice stage.This paper discusses the progress that the U.S.and European countries have made to promote and put technical innovation audit into practice.Through comparing how the promotion,practice and research of technical innovation audit has evolved in the U.S.,Germany,Italy,Hungary,Egypt and other western countries,the paper analyzes the characteristics of technical innovation audit being an applicable practice,and provides proposals for how to apply the practice in technical innovation audit in China
