The Input-Output Effects of Elements of Innovative Actors in China and Regional Disparity

Abstract：The input-output effects of elements of innovative actors are studied through a varying coefficient model,in which the level of economic development is introduced as explanatory variable.According to the data of the level of economic development in China in 2012,the current input-output effects are obtained.In the last part of this paper,regional disparity is discussed.The results show that the output effect of R&D expenses in university increases initially and decreases subsequently with the development of economy,whereas it increases in institution and decreases in firm respectively.The output effects of R&D personnel in university and institution show a decreasing trend,whereas the effect in firm suggests an increasing trend.Regional disparity in the input-output effect of innovative elements is apparent.
