Spatial Effect of the Technical Efficiency of Equipment Manufacturing

Abstract：This paper measures provincial technical efficiency of seven sub-industries of Equipment Manufacturing,divides its development into four stages,and analyzes spatial autocorrelation of technical efficiency.Results show that only the technical efficiency of general equipment industry and electrical machinery industry has a relatively high improvement and from 2006 on,spatial autocorrelation of technical efficiency of the seven sub-industries decreases gradually until zero(except for the general industry)in 2012.So,when making policies to revitalize equipment manufacturing,government should fully consider the technology diffusion mechanism
