Abstract：Based on provincial panel data of China from 2001 to 2010,we examined the influence of industry structure and urbanization on haze pollution.The results show that the relationship between industry structure and haze pollution was positively correlated,namely the rise of industry share in GDP aggravated the degree of haze pollution;the advancement of urbanization has a positive effect on haze pollution.There was significantly negative correlation between the regional GDP and haze pollution;the dummy variable of financial crisis and trade openness had obviously positive correlation with haze pollution;the impact of energy consumption and human capital on haze pollution was not significant.Through further analysis we also find that the higher level of urbanization,the greater influence of industry structure on haze pollution;the more irrational industry structure,the more influence of urbanization on haze pollution.Industry structure and urbanization as well as the interaction between them in coastal areas have greater positive effect on haze pollution than inland areas
