Abstract:This paper used a 3-D evaluation index system of new pattern manufacturing which includes economy creation,technology innovation,energy using and environment protection.Then it used the evaluation model of the grey relation projection method based on combined weights of FAHP and entropy to valuate new pattern manufacturing of China,the U.S.,Japan,Germany,Korea and the U.K.from 2000 to 2012.On this basis,it used the GM(1,1) model to predict and analyze the six of the developing trends of new pattern manufacturing by 2020.The results indicate that the overall level of new pattern of China's manufacturing would be further improved,and gradually narrow the gap with the United States,maybe surpass the United States in 2016.But there is an obvious difference between the abilities of economy,technology and energy.Economic development is the advantage of China's manufacturing industry,which will continue to maintain a high-speed upward trend in the future.The science and technology creative ability of China's manufacturing industry also has a more substantial upgrade,expected to be the comparable level with the United States by 2020.Energy intensive ability is the shortcoming of China's“new pattern”manufacturing,located in the bottom of the six countries
