Abstract:The collaborative innovation among government,industry and university (research) has been the main model of regional innovation.Based on the triple helix theory which focus on university-industry-government spiral nonlinear network innovation,using social network analysis method,this paper described and explained the regional collaborative innovation network structure and characteristics by using the data of three national hi-tech industrial parks.The results show that regional collaborative innovation network should be divided into three types which are government oriented,university oriented and enterprise oriented.Governments,universities and enterprises play the role of resource allocation and network support in the three networks respectively,and the other two main bodies involved in the collaborative innovation.Intermediary institution plays a role of structural hole in collaborative innovation
