Abstract：This paper firstly gives a brief introduction to the rise and development of transdisciplinary research and interdisciplinary research,then expounds cross-cutting research's meaning and characteristics.Finally,as for the research status of cross-cutting research in China,five suggestions about how to carry out the analysis in China are presented.
