Abstract：In this paper,the Heckman sample selection model is used to examine the impact of product innovation and process innovation on the level of cooperative innovation and cooperation in the sample of Chinese enterprises in the World Bank's 2012 enterprise survey database.The results show that:①The R&D investment has an inverted U-shaped relationship with the innovation performance of enterprises,with the increase of the density of R&D and the improvement of the innovation output,the marginal contribution decreases gradually and reaches the inflection point when close to 12%;②The cooperative relationship between suppliers and customers has a significant positive effect on product innovation.The cooperation relationship with suppliers and research institutes has a significant positive effect on process innovation;③Enterprises R&D investment can significantly promote the innovation performance of enterprises,and relatively speaking,the innovation performance of medium-sized enterprises is higher
