Abstract:For exploiting the impact of network location on innovation output,and exploring whether the geographic proximity plays a role of regulation,in this paper,an empirical analysis was did with the method of negative binomial regression from the perspective of dynamic evolution,based on Chinese patent in the field of carbon nanotube.Results shows that structure holes have a significant positive impact on innovation output;the point centrality has inverted u-shaped relationship with innovation output;when the point centrality is over large,it will have an inhibitory effect on innovation output;geographic proximity and point centrality positively regulates the innovation output;the interaction of the geographical approaches and structural holes on innovation output was not significant.This research has important enlightenment on choosing partners and self-management for innovative main body which means that network location and geographic proximity need to be considered.
