Reflection and Prospect:Evaluation on Research of Rural Governance in China(2004—2014)

Abstract：This paper tries to use knowledge mapping and literature statistics to assess Rural Governance Research of 2004—2014 from 10 Journals.This study finds that the lack of uniform academic norms exists in the current research of rural governance which leads to more repeated and non-academic research;and structural imbalance appears in research types that makes it can not be a formal academic platform.Besides,it is obviously short of variable statistical research and the subject methodological research has been seriously neglected so that the complete methodological system is difficult to be formed.Therefore,consciousness of problem and methodology must be continue to be strengthened,and by focusing on the combination of localized construction of the theory and global vision,the high quality development of rural governance research can be realized in the future study of village governance
