Abstract:In the view of external power,all traditional product innovations were done in a single acting force or multiple independent ones.The big data made these acting forces fused fully and efficiently.There was quite obviously a lot of synergy among the forces to push forward product innovations,which worked just like windmill.So the model of windmill-type product innovation was first put forward in this paper.In big data circumstances,it analyzed mechanism of external acting forces from the perspective of different stages of product innovation and mechanism of restrained forces from the view of data processing.It also proved the feasibility and availability of windmill-type product innovation in the environment of big data by the case study of Huawei Company using big data in product innovation
