Abstract：This article aims to reveal the new features and directions in the field of science of science in 2012—2016.By conducting scientometric analysis on nine journals in this field,we list hottest topics,high productive authors and institution along with their research field.We conclude that:In the terms of research topics,the topics of this field have mostly focused on“innovation”,and the basic research direction remains stable.At the same time,some new topics reflecting the characteristics of the times have emerged,such as“innovation driven”,“big data”,“collaborative innovation”and so on.In the terms of academic groups,the high productive writers in the field are concentrated in technology and comprehensiveness universities.They have own research directions and tend to cooperate with students.They usually have many collaborators.In the terms of academic institutions,the university is the main dispatch organization,and the economic management institute and the business school are the main posting positions.
