Abstract:Adopting a multiple case study as the research method,this paper tests the characteristics of the data-driven innovation in the equipment manufacturing enterprise empirically through 5 typical cases.The results show that the data-driven innovation exists in the equipment manufacturing enterprises.But compared with the information enterprises,they have some differences in the scopes,innovation subjects,types and data-driven relationships.Data flywheel and flywheel effects have special evolutionary characteristics in the operation,revolution and development of data-driven logistics enterprises,including innovation origin,main obstacles,inside or outside power and big data automatic cruise system.At last,the evolution and development of the data-driven innovation mode of equipment manufacturing enterprises are pointed out from six aspects:provision of data-driven decision from data flywheel,integrative development of service-oriented manufacturing and manufacture as a service,from passive service to positive service,from traditional manufacturing system to service ecosystem,from lean factory to smart factory and from traditional equipment manufacturing enterprises to “Internet plus” industry.
