Abstract:From the perspective of equipment manufacturing industry in 18 provinces of China's five“hot spots”,the paper uses a three-stage DEA approach to comprehensively analyze the spatial layout,dynamic development and influence factor of the equipment manufacturing industry from 2011 to 2015.The results show that the average value of technical efficiency of equipment manufacturing industry has typical regional differences,which are sequentially decreasing in the order of the Pearl River Delta,the Bohai Rim,the Yangtze River Delta,the Midwest,and the Northeast.The large difference in scale efficiency between regions is the bottleneck that restricts the improvement of overall efficiency of China's equipment manufacturing industry.The scale of enterprises,the strength of government support and the level of opening up have a significant impact on the technical efficiency of China's equipment manufacturing industry.Finally,based on this,the corresponding policy recommendations are put forward.
