Abstract:Based on China's inter-provincial panel data from 2007 to 2019,this paper uses global principal component analysis to extract three types of innovation factors including innovation subject,innovation input and innovation environment,and uses a fixed effects model to empirically test the impact of various innovation factors on exports technology complexity and the moderating effect of innovation-driven development strategies.The study found that innovation subject,innovation input and innovation environment can significantly increase exports technology complexity.Innovation-driven development strategies only have an enhanced moderating effect on the relationship between innovation subject,innovation input and export technology complexity.Further analysis of heterogeneity shows that in labor-intensive and capital-intensive industries,innovation-driven development strategies positively regulate the relationship between innovation input and export technology complexity.While in technology-intensive industries,innovation-driven development strategies positively regulate the relationship between innovation subject and export technology complexity.
