Abstract:As the global semiconductor industry enters the post-Moore era,it provides important opportunities for China and other latecomer economies to catch up.This paper analyzes the development foundation and main problems of China's semiconductor industry,and analyzes the fundamental causes and puts forward the main opportunities.We select four micro cases,including VLSI project,Samsung,TSMC,and ASML,to summarize the typical catch-up path for subsequent catch-up.From the perspective of three kinds of opportunity window and four types of innovation situation,this paper makes a longitudinal comparative analysis of the four cases and provides enlightenment for China.Finally,six policy suggestions are provided for formulating the innovation strategy of China's semiconductor industry in the post-Moore era.The paper points out that China should build a complete industrial ecosystem dominated by independent innovation,and perfect the New Nationwide System.China should encourage enterprises to seize the opportunities of emerging technologies,optimize industrial subdivisions,optimize the talent introduction and cultivation mechanism,and expand international open cooperation.
