An Empirical Study on the Impact of Technology Regulation Policy on China's Technological Innovation

Abstract:The implementation of strict export control for high and new technology is one of the strategic means widely used in developed countries to maintain the leading edge of technology and maintain the monopoly position of technology.It will have a great impact on the technological innovation of the controlled countries.This paper selects the panel data of A-share listed enterprises and studies the impact of foreign technology regulation policies on China's technological innovation through the fixed effect regression model.The empirical test found that under the technology regulation policy,the innovation input and output of China's high-tech enterprises increased significantly,but the efficiency of technological innovation decreased and the cost of technological innovation increased.High-tech enterprises in different industries are not consistent under the influence of technology regulation policies.The inherent innovation path of enterprises in biopharmaceutical and new materials industries has not changed greatly,while electronic,communication and computer related enterprises have increased R&D investment,and the innovation efficiency has been significantly reduced.
