Abstract:The global spread of COVID-19 has brought about many new crises in scientific research ethics such as the medical ethics crisis of clinical trials and vaccine development in subjects, the“short science”ethics crisis of COVID-19 and the multiple risks of deviation from research ethics standards. The generation logic of these crises is multiple. The uncertainty and panic of the COVID-19 has led to the ethical crisis of the trials, the urgency of the COVID-19 promotes the ethical risk of non-compliant research, and the politicization of the COVID-19 has led to a major deviation of medical research. In this regard, research cmmunities should strenthen the full cycle governance of the scientific research ethics crisis, the chain field governance of the scientific research area and the governance of epidemic-related research ethical review process standardization, along with emphasis on the preciseness and the social value of the scientific research related to the COVID-19.
