A Preliminary Study on the Evaluation Index System of Leading Manufacturing Enterprises' Key-core Technology Innovation Capability

Abstract:Leading manufacturing companies can break through the“neck”in key core technology by developing and improving their key-core technology innovation capability.However,assessing such capability in a way that is both reasonable and scientific is a critical and pressing theoretical issue.This study examines five dimensions of key core technology innovation capability of leading manufacturing enterprises including sustained high-intensity innovation input capability,common demand-driven basic research capability,industrial innovation chain integration and development capability,high-impact innovation output capability,and elemental contextual support capability.On this basis,an evaluation index system is initially established.According to the exploratory and validation factor testing procedures for indicator system development,101 listed enterprises of China's top 500 manufacturing enterprises from 2013 to 2019 were used as research samples,and the evaluation indicator system with 5 factors and 17 indicators of key core technology innovation capacity of leading manufacturing enterprises was finally determined.In addition to theoretically advancing the evaluation research of enterprises'key core technology innovation capability,the conclusion of the study provides theoretical support and direction for both the systematic capability construction and the evaluation of manufacturing leading enterprises'key core technology innovation capability.
