The Influence of Autonomy in University Technology Transfer Institutions on the Effectiveness of Technology Transfer

Abstract:Addressing the challenges of inadequate momentum,limited transformative capabilities,and low decision-making efficiency in Chinese university technology transfer institutions,this paper studies and discusses the influence of institutional autonomy on technology transfer outcomes.The research found that the autonomous technology transfer institutions in universities can have a positive impact on technology transfer through more flexible personnel selection mechanism,more full discretion of scientific and technological achievements and decision-making power,the development of regional technology market and the active supply of regional scientific and technological achievements will affect the relationship between the autonomy of university technology transfer institutions and technology transfer.The research conclusions can provide reform enlightenment for exploring the institutional innovation of university technology transfer institutions and giving full play to the main role of university technology transfer institutions in the achievement transformation.
