Research on the Impact of Key Core Technological Barriers on Software Industry Security and Coping Strategies

Abstract:Software is the core and the soul of the new generation of information technology.The United States is attempting to build strict barriers to key core technologies against China's software industry,which seriously threatens its security.This article empirically explores the impact of barriers to key core technologies on the security of China's software industry based on the lists of entities and sanctions by the United States towards China,and analyzes response strategies from the dimensions of technological innovation,market development,and policy support.Empirical testing has found that barriers to key core technology significantly inhibit the security of China's software industry,and also causes inhibitory effects on the sub-dimensions of technological advancement,competitiveness improvement,and environment development of the software industry.The analysis of response strategies shows that improving technological innovation efficiency,marketization level,and government subsidies can all help alleviate the aforementioned inhibitory effects.This article expands the research on key core technology barriers and industrial security,and provides inspiration for the practice of China's software industry in dealing with barriers to key and core technologies.
