Research on the Impact of Digital Transformation on the Integration of Industrial Chain and Innovation Chain

Abstract:This study explains the influence mechanism of digital transformation on the integration of industrial chain and innovation chain from the theoretical aspect,and then constructs the spatial Durbin model to empirically analysis the influence effect of digital transformation on the integration of industrial chain and innovation chain and its heterogeneity,and analyzes the mediating effect of industrial structure upgrading,as well as the moderating effect of government support and marketization level on the relationship between the two.The study finds that:①Digital transformation is conducive to promoting the integration of local industrial chain and innovation chain,which is still valid after a series of robustness tests and endogenous processing.Digital transformation mainly promotes the upgrading of industrial structure,and then realizes the integration of industrial chain and innovation chain,and digital transformation has a significant inhibitory effect on the neighboring areas.②The results of heterogeneity analysis show that digital transformation has a significant effect on the integration of industrial chain innovation chain in the eastern,central and western regions,and the western,eastern,and central regions show a hierarchical growth,while the northeastern region is not significant.At the same time,when the urbanization level is high,the promotion effect of digital transformation on the integration of industrial chain innovation chain is more obvious.③The government supports negative regulates the impact of digital transformation on the integration of industrial chain innovation chain,while the marketization level positively regulates the impact of digital transformation on the integration of industrial chain innovation chain.The research results help clarify the relationship between digital transformation and the integration of industrial chain innovation chain,and provide useful references for solving the problem of“two skins”between technology and industry,promoting effective integration of industrial chain innovation chain,and promoting the sci-tech self-reliance and self-strengthening at higher levels.
