Abstract:This paper discussed the spatial layout and the future development of e-commerce characteristic towns.By using the method of spatial analysis of Gini coefficient,nearest distance index,kernel density analysis,rotary method and spatial econometrics,the spatial layout were discussed.The results shows that the Taobaotowns show the agglomeration characteristics in the spatial layout,while the distribution is extremely unbalanced,with fewer in western areas and more in the east.The distance from large and medium-sized cities also affects its layout.The arising and development of Taobaotowns is mainly affected by the local industry and talent base,industrial agglomeration and traffic,the national policy effect,the pull effect of cross-border e-commerce.To promote the development of Taobaotowns,the article puts forward some suggestions,such as strengthening the construction of talent system,building the rural E-commerce Industrial Park,strengthening the national plan and support,and creating differentiated products.
