A Study on the Selection of Disruptive Technology Innovation Direction Based on Technological Evolution Theory——Taking the Electric Vehicle Technology as An Example

Abstract:The report at 19th CPC National Congress highlighted the importance of disruptive technology innovation.Recognizing the evolutionary direction of disruptive technology is significant for the development and selection of the technology,and thus plays an important role in the strategic layout of the national industry and industrial direction.The paper is based on system function analysis and the law of technological evolution.It identifies two key points in recognizing the direction of disruptive technology:the innovation subsystem should be a basic functional subsystem,and the direction of innovation should be different from sustaining innovation.The paper analyzes the steps of recognizing the direction of disruptive technology innovation,and takes new energy vehicle as example,stating that the innovation subsystem of automobile is energy and drive motor subsystem,and its innovation direction can meet with the direction of disruptive innovation.
