Abstract:Based on the provincial manufacturing industry's panel data from 2001 to 2015 in China, this paper makes an empirical analysis on the effect of collaborative innovation on the manufacturing industry's economic performance, and the regional differences are also compared. The results show that:from the view of the whole country, the collaborative innovation has a certain crowding out effect on the manufacturing industry's economic performance;from the sub-region,the effect of collaborative innovation on the manufacturing industry's economic performance are different:collaborative innovation in the eastern region can significantly improve the regional manufacturing industry's economic performance, while collaborative innovation in the central and western regions have a certain crowding out effect on the regional manufacturing industry's economic performance;by using dynamic panel data model to analysis, the above results are also true. The reason behind is that the collaborative innovation degree of eastern region is stronger than that of the central& western regions significantly,so that is helpful to promote the production of positive synergistic effect.
