Regional Differences in the Impact of the Development Level of Science and Technology Services on the Upgrading of Manufacturing Industry in China——From the Perspective of Labor Productivity

Abstract:From the perspective of labor productivity,we constructed a model for the impact of the development level of science and technology service industry on manufacturing upgrades and study regional differences.According to the level of economic development,30 provinces of China were classified,and the development index of the science and technology service industry in 30 provinces from 2007 to 2016 was calculated and used as the core explanatory variable.Then,the relevant panel data was used for regression test.The results showed that there were differences in the relationship between the two regions of different economic development levels.In the economically advanced areas,the development of science and technology service industry couldn't support the upgrading of manufacturing industry because of the development level mismatch.But it had a positive promotion to the areas with medium economic level.In the backward areas,there was no correlation between them.
