The Layer Differentiation Issue of Inner Economic Cooperation in Agglomeration:A Case Study of Around Chang-Zhu-Tan Urban Agglomeration

Abstract：The paper took “3 + 5”cities in Around Chang-Zhu-Tan urban agglomeration in Hunan province as the research object,used the gravity model to quantitatively analyze the inner relations among the cities based on the data from 2007 to 2016,and explained the intensity of internal coordinated economy development.The result shows that the synergy degree of three core cities (Chang-Zhu-Tan)has increased year by year,but the gap between Xiangtan to Changsha and Xiangtan to Zhuzhou is widening.In addition,the economic interaction in Chang-Zhu-Tan is significantly higher than that in the surrounding five cities.To promote its coordinated development,it is suggested to adjust the inner industry distribution and to set up incentive and restraint mechanism to solve the layer differentiation issues,as well as to take Changsha as the core city to increase the economic radiation from the inner layer to the outer layer.In addition,the five cities in the out circle need to establish official cooperation mechanism to strengthen each interaction in order to enhance the overall economic coordination level.
