Evolution Analysis on Yangtze River Delta City Group Innovation Pole from the Perspective of Spatial Structure

Abstract:This paper studies the structural distribution and evolution of innovation poles in Yangtze River Delta urban agglomeration from the perspective of spatial structure.Firstly,this paper uses the innovation gravity center model to measure the non-equilibrium of the innovation development of the Yangtze River Delta urban agglomeration.On this basis,it uses the TW index to measure the polarization effect of urban agglomeration.The research finds that the polarization effect of the Yangtze River Delta urban agglomeration is decreasing in general,but its structural distribution has commonality:the periphery is concentrated in the northern part of the north wing and the central and western parts of the southern wing,and the polarization area is concentrated in areas with convenient transportation.The evolutionary trends of the Yangtze River Delta urban agglomerations are not the same.The specific performance are as follows:the polarization zone in the coastal areas is elevated and the scope is expanded.The polarization zones along the Yangtze River region first expands and then shrinks,and the polarization along the Beijing-Hangzhou Canal has risen and the number has increased,and the total polarization area of the cities along the railway has increased.The research results are intended to provide reference for the collaborative development of urban agglomeration innovation in the Chinese context.
