The Geographical Agglomeration and Spatial Spillover Effects of High-tech Industries from the Perspective of Innovation Value Chain

Abstract:This paper discusses the spatial characteristics and correlation of both high-tech industries agglomeration and talent agglomeration,then we compare the influence and analyze spatial effects of industries agglomeration and talent agglomeration on regional R&D innovation and transformation innovation.The findings are as follows.The two kinds of agglomeration of high-tech industries go up from 2000 to 2016,and there is a significant spatial correlation between the R&D innovation and transformation innovational output of high-tech industries,which shows a trend of increasing in stability.There is a significant positive spatial effects for R&D innovation output of high-tech industries,while a negative direct spatial effects for transformed innovation output.Industries agglomeration promotes high-tech R&D and innovation,while talent agglomeration has a significant negative effect.Both human capital and physical capital are very effective in both R&D innovation and transformation innovation of high-tech industries.The influences of competition effect,demonstration effect and correlation effect are very different.
