Abstract:This paper selects the panel data of high-tech industries in 30 provinces of China from 2009 to 2015,and uses the three-stage DEA model to measure the technical efficiency of high-tech industries.At the same time,based on the spatial econometric models,it studies the impact of institutional environment in the region and adjacent areas on the technical efficiency of high-tech industries.The results show that the average technical efficiency of the high-tech industry is 0.392,which is lower than the initial efficiency of 0.649.The technical is mainly subject to low-level scale efficiency.And there is a spatial spillover effect on the technical efficiency.It is influenced by the institutional environment of the region and surrounding areas.The development of non-state-owned economy and product market is conducive to improve the technical efficiency of high-tech industries in the region and adjacent areas.The development of factor markets cannot promote the technical efficiency of high-tech industries in the region and adjacent areas.The intermediary organization and legal system environment have positive direct impact on the technical efficiency of high-tech industries in the region,but there is no significant spillover effect.
