Research on the Spatial Imbalance and Distributional Dynamic Evolution of Digital Economy in China

Abstract:Based on the data of urban digital economic development index released by the“Tencent+”data platform,this paper uses Dagum Gini coefficient to measure the regional differences of digital economic development in megalopolises.To measure the regional disparities of digital economic development among five major megalopolises:GBA,Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei,Yangtze River Delta,the middle reaches of the Yangtze River and Chengdu-Chongqing megalopolises,Kernel density analysis is used to analyze the distributional dynamics of digital economic development,and spatial Markov chain is used to reveal the dynamic evolution of digital economic development.Research findings.The regional disparity of digital economic development in China is gradually decreasing;The disparity of digital economic development in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei is much higher than that in other megalopolises;The difference between megalopolises is the main source of the difference in digital economic development;The kernel density of the digital economy development in the five major megalopolises has multi-peak phenomenon,which indicates that the digital economy development presents obvious characteristics of polarization;The development of digital economy in near cities has a significant impact on the development of digital economy in this city.
