Abstract:This paper is to clarify the internal mechanism between the agglomeration of science and technology service industry and the efficiency of regional innovation.Based on the three stages of knowledge innovation,technology development and achievement transformation from the perspective of innovation value chain,this paper uses the three-stage DEA method to measure the efficiency of each stage of innovation in 30 provinces in China from 2009 to 2016,and builds a spatial measurement model to further investigate the impact of the convergence of technology services on regional innovation efficiency.The results show that there are phase differences in regional innovation efficiency in China.Compared with the efficiency of knowledge innovation and the efficiency of transformation of results,the efficiency of technology research and development is relatively low.The convergence of science and technology service industry has a significant positive impact on knowledge innovation efficiency and technology development efficiency,and has a negative impact on the efficiency of results transformation.From the perspective of spatial correlation,the agglomeration of science and technology service industry has a positive spillover impact on the efficiency of knowledge innovation in adjacent areas,and has a“siphon effect”on the efficiency of transformation of results,but no significant impact on the efficiency of technology research and development.
