Technological Innovation,Industrial Structure Adjustment and Energy Consumption

Abstract:This paper establishes a PVAR model of technological innovation, industrial structure adjustment and energy consumption.It studies the technological innovation,industrial structure adjustment and transmission mechanism among all regions,high-carbon regions and low-carbon regions in 30 provinces of China from 2004 to 2016,and analyzes the interaction among them.The results show that the industrial structure adjustment under the guidance of technological innovation has a positive effect on reducing energy consumption,technological innovation and efficient industrial structure adjustment have a positive impulse response to the realization of economic growth,and the effectiveness of industrial structure adjustment has a high constraint effect on energy consumption.
