Evolution of Enterprise Innovation Ecosystem from the Perspective of Competition and Cooperation:A Case Study of BOE

Abstract:Based on the perspective of competition and cooperation,this paper studies the vertical case of BOE's innovation ecosystem from the logic of“competition and cooperation-structure-mechanism”and finds the followings.①BOE's innovation ecosystem has gone through three stages named as the rooting period,the climbing period,and the transition period.During this process,the company has completed the transformation from a technology market follower to a core value leader and a platform resource integrator.Corresponding competition and cooperation can be divided into dependent competition and cooperation,mating competition and cooperation,courtship competition,symbiosis competition and cooperation,which map out the system structure of decentralized network chain,a center-periphery nested,and a multi-network fusion rainforest-style system.②The evolution of the innovation ecosystem is closely related to changes in technical product requirements,added value requirements,and scene customization requirements.③The innovation realization mechanism of the innovation ecosystem matches the innovation needs and system stages,and is mainly manifested in the aggregation mechanism,the synergy mechanism and the symbiotic mechanism.The research conclusion enriches and develops the research theories related to the evolution law of innovation ecosystem and internal competition and cooperation,and it provides the reference for latecomer enterprises to realize technological catch-up and upgrading.
