Evaluation on the Development of Science and Technology Business Incubator in Beijing from the Perspective of Ecological Niche

Abstract:From the perspective of ecology,this paper explores the connotation of the science and technology business incubators niche,and builds an evaluation index system for the incubator niche.Using the microscopic survey data of the Torch High Technology Industry Development Center from 2015 to 2019 and using niche situational theory model,the paper analyzes the development level of incubator in Beijing.The results show that the difference of“state value”of incubators in Beijing is much larger than that of“potential value”,and most incubators have the imbalance of ecological niche in different dimensions.In the sub-dimension niche evaluation results,the difference between incubators is the most significant in the dimension of knowledge and technology,followed by the dimension of economic and policy.The results of niche clustering in various dimensions show that 25 incubators are lagging behind in the ecological niche,accounting for more than 50%.The problem of uneven development of incubators in Beijing is prominen.Finally,this article draws relevant enlightenments from the conclusions and makes recommendations for the overall development of Beijing's incubator industry.
