Abstract:Artificial intelligence (AI) technology is shaping the future world, and while it is helping to achieve the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, its own sustainability issues are becoming increasingly prominent. At present, the world's major forces are paying close attention to the international governance of AI and have proposed their own governance principles, models and frameworks to varying degrees, but there are also problems such as insufficient global representation, fragmented construction and interpretation, and conflicts between technological logic and power purposes. This paper focuses on the sustainable development of AI and its derivatives in the context of 2030 Agenda, and constructs a matrix of sustainable AI development in the three-layer architecture of AI systems and the 5P dimensions of sustainable development. In this way,a global cooperation and governance framework for Sustainable Artificial Intelligence Development is established. The paradigm can help strengthen the foundation for broader international cooperation on AI,promote more effective global governance, and ensure healthier AI development.
