摘要为了科学合理地评估合成生物学领域科研基金资助对科研产出的影响,本文选取Web of Science数据库收录的基金资助论文为研究对象,收集2010—2020年发文量前五的国家,对科研基金资助效果进行整体分析。研究表明,在合成生物学研究领域:①基金资助有效提升了科研产出数量,中国科研产出量增长迅猛,并于2019年首度超越美国,位列全球第一。②基金资助能够推动科研产出质量,但显著程度在不同国家不尽一致,中国的产出质量仍然落后于美国、英国、德国和日本。③较之美国、英国和德国,基金资助对中日两国科研相对影响力的提升效果尚不显著;较之非基金论文,基金资助有效提升了科研产出的相对影响力,然而英国非基金论文的相对影响力高于基金论文,对此本文做出了进一步解释。
Abstract:In order to scientifically and reasonably evaluate the impact of scientific research funding in the field of synthetic biology on scientific research output,this paper selects the funded papers included in the Web of Science database as the research objects,and collects the top five countries with the largest number of papers published from 2010 to 2020.The research shows the followings.①Funding has effectively increased the amount of scientific research output.China's scientific research output has grown rapidly and surpassed the United States for the first time in 2019 and ranked first in the world.②Funding can promote the quality of scientific research output,but the degree of significance varies across countries.China's output quality still lags behind the United States,the United Kingdom,Germany,and Japan.③Compared with the United States,the United Kingdom,and Germany,the effect of funded funding on the relative influence of scientific research in China and Japan is not significant.Compared with non-funded papers,funded funding has effectively improved the relative influence of scientific research output.The relative impact of non-funded papers in UK is higher than that of funded papers,which is further explained in this paper.
