Research on the Quality and Speed Matching and Coordination Mechanism of China's Technological Innovation Development

Abstract:In the context of high-quality development,innovation is the first driving force,and there is a contradiction between innovation quality and innovation speed.It is of great significance to study the mechanism of innovation output and the coordination mechanism between them.Based on the knowledge production function and high-tech industry innovation data,this paper uses panel data models,panel smooth conversion models,and Bayesian vector autoregressive models to analyze innovation quality,the effect of innovation speed on innovation output,and the relationship between innovation quality and innovation speed.The research results show that innovation quality has a significant positive contribution to innovation output and presents an N curve.Innovation speed has a significant positive contribution to innovation output and presents a U curve;Innovation quality and innovation speed have a low level of coordination.The performance of innovation quality and innovation speed interact with each other.The elastic coefficient of innovation quality increases with the increase of innovation speed,and the elastic coefficient of innovation speed decreases with the increase of innovation quality and eventually becomes a negative number.
