Research on the Spatial Relationship Between Niche Suitability and Innovation Performance of High-Tech Industry Innovation Ecosystem

Abstract:In order to optimize the allocation of regional innovation resources,it is of great significance to study the niche suitability of high-tech industry innovation ecosystem to boost the innovation performance of high-tech industry.From the perspective of two-stage innovation value chain,this paper studies the spatial relationship between niche fitness and innovation performance of high-tech industry innovation ecosystem based on the data of 30 Provinces in China from 2010 to 2020 using spatial dubin model.The results show that there is a two-stage heterogeneity in the spatial spillover effect of niche suitability on innovation performance.In the technology R&D stage,niche suitability,industrial structure upgrading and government support have a positive spillover effect on innovation performance.In the stage of achievement transformation,niche suitability,industrial structure upgrading and marketization have a positive spillover effect on innovation performance.Through this study,the niche theory of innovation ecosystem is expanded,and the basis for high-tech industry innovation space development strategy selection is provided.
